Penguin Slope is a downhill sliding game where a penguin sledges over rolling snowy hills. Hold the screen, or hold Space (or the down arrow, or S), to tuck and dive faster on the way down, then release at the crest of a hill to launch into the air and fly. Chaining a fast slide into a clean takeoff earns a perfect bonus and lets you slide further. The aim is simple: travel as many metres as you can.
It is a lovely feel-for-momentum game that rewards timing and a sense of rhythm rather than fast reactions. The sky slowly darkens from day to night as a built-in timer, but keeping your speed up tops the timer back up, so the skill is reading the hills and committing to each dive at just the right moment.
Penguin Slope was built by a UK SEND tutor with QTS and is calm and ad-free with no third-party tracking. It is free to play with no signup and no download, and it runs in any browser on a tablet, laptop or whiteboard, so it works well in 1:1 tutoring and screen-share therapy sessions.
