Snake is the friendly browser version of the classic grow-the-snake game. Steer with the arrow keys or WASD on a keyboard, swipe in any direction on a touchscreen, or use the on-screen D-pad on phones and tablets. Guide the snake to eat the red apples; each apple makes it one segment longer. Avoid the walls and your own tail.
It is a great little workout for planning ahead, spatial awareness and steady control, since you have to think a move or two before the snake gets there. The pace fits the chosen working level: younger players get a slow, steady snake that never speeds up, while older players get a faster start that quickens with every few apples for a bigger challenge.
Snake was built by a UK SEND tutor with QTS and is calm and ad-free with no third-party tracking. It is free to play with no signup, no download and no in-game purchases, and it runs in any browser on a tablet, laptop or whiteboard, so it works just as well for 1:1 tutoring as for screen-share therapy sessions.
