🧩 Bond Pairs

Bond Pairs is a number-bond recall game. The whole is shown ("Make 10") with one partner already on the table, and the child taps the card that completes the pair. Pick the bond family - bonds to 5, 10 or 20 - and choose Easy with two cards or Harder with four. An optional ten-frame hint and a spoken stem sentence ("6 and 4 makes 10") can be turned on or off.

It builds fluent, automatic recall of number bonds to 5, 10 and 20, a core Y1 and Y2 UK National Curriculum objective. The easy two-card mode is errorless for younger or less confident learners; the harder four-card mode uses close distractors so children genuinely add rather than guess, and the ten-frame supports the concrete-pictorial-abstract progression.

Built by a UK SEND tutor with QTS, Bond Pairs is calm, ad-free and carries no third-party tracking. The two-card mode is untimed and errorless, so it suits 1:1 tutoring and screen-share therapy sessions. It plays in any browser on a tablet, laptop or classroom whiteboard, and is free to play with no signup.
