๐Ÿ• Read the Clock

Read the Clock is a free game for learning to tell the time on an analogue clock. A clock face shows a time and the child taps the matching digital time from four choices. It is untimed with no penalty - a wrong tap simply waits, so children keep trying until it clicks.

Difficulty steps with the UK National Curriculum: o'clock and half past (Year 1), then quarter past, quarter to and five-minute intervals (Year 2-3), then reading to the exact minute and 24-hour time (Year 4). Optional minute numbers around the rim act as a reading aid, and the times can be read aloud.

Built by a UK SEND tutor with QTS: errorless practice, large tap targets, and calm, predictable pacing. It plays in any browser on a tablet, laptop or interactive whiteboard, which makes it a good fit for 1:1 tutoring and screen-share therapy sessions.
